Canva launches a suite of workplace products to enhance visual collaboration

Australia-based graphic design company Canva has launched a suite of new workplace products and features designed to help remote workers more effectively collaborate visually across any device from anywhere.

Canva's new visual work package consists of documents, websites, whiteboards, videos, and data visualization, as well as several new features to enhance the Canva user experience. The launch comes as the company has registered more than 85 million global users and 4,4 million paying customers.

Visual communication is becoming an increasingly essential skill for teams of all sizes in nearly every industry, Canva co-founder and CEO Melanie Perkins said in a press release.

To facilitate this need for visual communication, Canva Docs aims to make traditional text documents more visually appealing, giving users access to Canva's library of over 100 million videos, GIFs, photos, illustrations, and more. visual resources. Docs users will also have access to collaboration features like comments and version history, as well as the ability to incorporate other content created in Canva, such as banners or whiteboards.

Canva offers several tools to create websites from scratch

Canva Websites offers users hundreds of professional-grade website templates, customizable domains, and adjustable page heights to build websites from scratch, while Video Background Remover, a feature that already exists in Canva Pro, is now available as part of Canva Pro. of the new update. Fueled by the company's acquisition of Flourish in February 2022, Data Visualization is Canva's new advanced graphics product. The final product of the new Canva suite is Canva Whiteboards. Launched last month, it allows users to host workshops, brainstorm, and collaborate with colleagues right on the Canva platform. Along with the host of new products, Canva has also expanded its Canva printing capabilities, now allowing users to print on items like brochures, photo books, hoodies, and mugs. Remote presentation control was also introduced, allowing multiple presenters to control their presentation from any device through the use of a virtual switch.

Commenting on Canva's continued growth - last year the company raised €200 million at a €40 billion valuation - Perkins said an increasing number of people are now embracing the power of visual communication to unleash your creativity and achieve your goals.
