B & W's Flex Flex wireless speaker promises incredible audio quality for its size

Audio brand Bowers & Wilkins has unveiled the latest product in its famed Training range, the Flex Wireless Training Speaker, which it claims boasts "the highest sound quality ever found in a stand-alone wireless speaker of any size".

Using the same tweeter technology as the Bowers & Wilkins 600 series, this wireless speaker promises to deliver the same audio quality as a wired speaker, an attractive proposition for any audiophile.

Flex Training can be used alone or in combination with another Flex Training for true stereo sound, or, if you already have a training speaker at home, like the Training Bar, it can be part of your workout. an "immersive 5.1 surround sound experience", making it a nice addition to your home theater setup

In this case you should not encounter synchronization problems between different speakers, Bowers & Wilkins claim a "microsecond room synchronization between speakers".

Training takes place on the brand's proprietary Robust Mesh network, which works in conjunction with Wi-Fi in your home. This means you can have a multi-room setup, with speakers playing music in every room of your home without using up valuable bandwidth on your network.

Although Bowers & Wilkins announced in April 2019 that training speakers would now have voice control, the Flex doesn't appear to support voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant.

However, the wireless speaker should sound fantastic, with support for Hi-Res streaming at twice the fidelity of the leading wireless speaker brand for a pure audio experience. The clearest.

In addition to support for 96/24-bit audio resolution, Training Flex includes a decoupled double-dome tweeter for a big, powerful soundstage.
