Boys season 2 is less than a few months away, and Amazon Prime Video has released the first official trailer for the return of the dark superhero series. In The Boys season 2, the titular gang of anti-superhero activists are on the run, after exposing their existence to The Seven, their universe's violent and corrupt version of the Justice League. The trailer picks up what worked so well in Season 1 of The Boys, a bearded Karl Urban (who plays boys' leader Billy Butcher) swearing in a monologue, giving people what they want over and over again. We also get a brief, haunting glimpse of Homelander (Antony Starr) drinking what is likely breast milk from a baby bottle – season 1 has revealed this to be one of the mad figure Superman's 'things'. Why should you watch The Boys?
If you haven't had time to watch The Boys yet, this looks like Amazon Prime Video's flagship show: a huge budget hit that managed to grab everyone's attention when it released. 'last summer.
