Boult AirBass Encore X TWS with ENC launched in India at Rs 1.799

Boult today launched the affordable Encore X AirBass headphones in India priced at Rs 1.799. The Indian audio electronics manufacturer has confirmed that the device will be available in black and white color options.

Spec-wise, the Boult AirBass Encore X headphones feature a 10mm audio driver tuned by the company for a powerful bass experience.

The TWS also comes with quad microphones that contribute to the company's new ambient noise cancellation with a Pro+ call experience that helps keep background noise to a minimum.

Other specifications of the Boult AirBass Encore X include IPX5 water resistance, making it easily usable in gyms and outdoor environments.

In terms of design, the AirBass Encore X shares the same design as the company's line of TWS Propods and Gearpods headphones. Each of the earbuds has a long stem with touch controls at the top that can be used to control audio playback, summon Google Assistant or Siri depending on the paired device, and also answer or end calls.

The Boult AirBass Encore X supports Bluetooth 5.1 and is compatible with Android and Apple devices. The exact specifications of the battery in the case and the earbuds are unclear, however, the company claims that the TWS earbuds can be fully charged 5 times for a total of up to 30 hours of playtime.

The case can be charged via Type-C cable even with a 5W or 10W charger. According to the company, the AirBass ENCore X offers 100 minutes of use with 10 minutes of charging.

Boult's AirBass Encore X is now available for purchase from the company's online store, but will also be available through Amazon from April 8 at the same price of Rs 1799. The company also offers a standard warranty of one year for earphones.

Another TWS in the ocean of economic agreements

Although there are more premium offerings like Oppo's Enco Air 2 offering superior audio quality at a slightly higher price, the ongoing competition between Boat and Boult Audio is clearly visible now that the Encore X is launched.

Boult's new earphones are a response to Boat's Airdopes 411 ANC, which was the latter's most affordable TWS with noise-canceling technology that was recently launched in India.
