Borderlands 3 will have an Apex Legends-style ping system

There are only a few months left to wait before team up and you can jump into Borderlands 3. Online multiplayer is probably one of the most powerful features in the Borderlands series, but if you're more of a lone wolf or if you don't play the game very well, it's you may not be tempted to play with others. With this in mind, Gearbox Software, developer of Borderlands 3, aims to make it easier to integrate Borderlands 3 multiplayer. Last week at a Guardian Con panel (via PC Gamer), Gearbox revealed that it had added new features. to Borderlands 3 to make multiplayer more accessible than its predecessors. The biggest addition? An Apex Legends-style ping system that allows players to communicate with each other without having to say a word. Similar to Apex Legends, Borderlands 3 multiplayer will allow players to simply cover an enemy or chest and then press a button to send it to teammates. In other words, it allows you to highlight important items like hostiles, loot, and objectives. This feature will allow players to communicate easily and without having to deal with the stress of a stranger yelling into their headset. Of course, this option remains available. Accessibility adaptations.

In addition to the new ping system, Borderlands 3 includes many other features to increase the overall accessibility of the game, including support for the Xbox Adaptive Controller, remappable controls, a variety of subtitles, and more. # Subtitle options as well as level synchronization. (This will allow you to play with friends, even if you are of different levels.) Improvements have also been made to online matchmaking. Players will be able to search for a match in the background while continuing to play. Matching preferences can be more specific than before. This means that you can find players at the same time in the story or set the mode you want to play. These quality of life changes are big improvements that should encourage a larger player base to jump on board with Borderlands 3 when it releases in September.
