This 1TB SSD from the popular entry-level brand Teamgroup is currently the cheapest on the market. The CX2 Classic SSD is currently available at a 15% discount, just €0,68 per GB, so grab it while you can. Ahead of Black Friday, the cheapest 1TB SSD contest is really on, and a newcomer has taken the crown. Little-known manufacturer Teamgroup is currently offering the most affordable 1TB SSD we've seen in recent memory, available at a 15% discount from Newegg for just $67.99, compared to $79.99. Hurry though as the offer ends in less than 24 hours (or while supplies last). Like most drives in this price range, the two SSDs are likely to be 3-inch DRAM-less SATA2.5 models using 3D NAND flash memory with advanced SLC caching, wear leveling technology, and ECC functionality. The drives have read/write speeds of around 540MB/s and 590MB/s respectively (as measured by CrystalDiskMark), and they support TRIM and SMART to monitor your drive's health and maintain peak performance. Both also come with a healthy three-year warranty, but it's unclear if any additional accessories are included. Please note that Newegg also offers a data recovery service for internal drives through Drivesavers. It will only cost you €36 for the 3-year data recovery service plan or €12 per year.
