It all seemed pretty daunting. We were able to reduce the level of stimulation somewhat by customizing which menu items are shown and which are hidden, but there's no way to limit what happens by your activity stream. Each individual page also has submenus and sidebars to navigate, making navigating the software more complicated. Even as we got used to the Bitrix24 interface, we found many cases where using the platform did not seem transparent. The default when sharing updates is to share them with each and every employee in your company, which causes a lot of congestion in the flow. The continuous nature of the activity feed also makes it easy to miss key updates. On top of this, we didn't like that the internal chat was only free as a sidebar instead of a full page mod. You cannot open messages at the same time as your mail or projects, which results in a lot of exchanges on the platform. We often find ourselves wishing the entire platform could be split into multiple panels, but there's not much you can do to customize Bitrix24's layout.
