The FTC and its director, Lina Khan, say the company may have discriminated against competitors who also sell their products to AWS customers, favoring customers who choose to work exclusively with AWS and punishing everyone else.

The FTC and Amazon have so far remained silent on the matter, though Amazon filed a petition in June demanding that Khan be removed from antitrust rulings, saying previous criticism of Khan meant she was one-sided.
