Asus Zenfone 6 teaser hints at a true full-screen design

Asus has been making some pretty impressive phones of late, and based on an Asus Zenfone 6 teaser, the future combo may be no exception. Shared on the official Asus Twitter account, the teaser includes the schematics of a phone that apparently has no frame, notch or hole. What it does have, is a small upturned lip, which could be the place where a pop-up selfie camera would emerge. After all, there should always be a front camera somewhere.

Apart from the full screen design, this teaser doesn't reveal much, but says "defy the common", while the text of the accompanying tweet says "embrace the extraordinary revolution", suggesting that Zenfone 6 could offer a design or a feature that we've rarely, if ever, seen before, and that an all-screen layout is appropriate. That said, we wouldn't take this teaser as confirmation that there wasn't a telescope on the Asus Zenfone 6, as it's not uncommon for smartphone teasers to suggest more than it is. It is offered at the end. We'll find out soon anyway, as the asus Zenfone 6 was announced on May 16 and that, based on previous leaks on AnTuTu, could also have a Snapdragon 855 chipset, 1080 x 2340 display, and 6GB of RAM. via GSMArena
