Asus has announced a new program for gamers in India called ROG Academy. The Asus ROG Academy will empower gamers in India and the program will help Identity PC gamers go through a selection process. The company will also provide them with a platform to improve their skills and prepare for professional level gaming. As Asus advocates for a strong gaming ecosystem in India, this new ROG Academy initiative is a testament to the fact that India is an important market for Asus. Asus ROG will provide gamers with high-quality technology and tournament-ready gaming gear, along with professional mentoring as part of this initiative.

(Image credit: Asus) ROG Academy is a year-long program that is divided into four sessions, one per quarter. His goal is to strengthen the esports talent pool in India. The shortlisted team and players will go through the selection process divided into different phases that will result in 6 selected players being part of a 3-month session for the first quarter. Activities during the term include one-on-one coaching, teamwork coach mentoring, communication, and high-level concepts used at the highest level of competition. The drills, schedule and the entire program will be specifically designed with the title and existing skills of the players who will be part of it in mind. For the inaugural season, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will be the official title. Panelists will include representatives from Asus ROG, partners, and CS:GO. The company will provide Rs 1,00,000 as a prize to the last 6 players, after they have successfully completed their 3-month training. In addition, the players will also receive Rs 15.000 as an allowance as well as a monthly bonus during the training period. The six players will continue to represent the brand for an additional 3 months while participating in tournaments or events after successfully completing the 3-month training program.

How to Apply to ROG Academy

If you're a die-hard PC gamer, here's how to apply for a chance to win the prize and get a well-rounded education. To apply, one must be 16 years or older and players between the ages of 16 and 18 will need to provide a letter of consent from their parents. You can go to the ROG Academy registration page, fill in the details, and submit your application. Registration is currently open and will close on February 10. After registration, participants will go through a selection process that will include demonstrating their skills during open tests where they will be judged by a jury.
