Asus reveals two amazing new Gundam-themed routers designed for gamers
Asus is introducing two new versions of existing gaming routers that are themed around ``Mobile Suit Gundam,'' the animated TV series (although if you don't know what it is, these products are unlikely to interest you much about). Both RT-AX86U and RT-AX82U have Gundam processing.

Uno de los puertos Ethernet está marcado como un dedicated 'gameport', and any device connected to it will have its traffic prioritized - a nice touch. The internal processor is a quad-core Broadcom model running at 1.8GHz, backed by 1GB of RAM, and this router has three antennas. There is also a "Mobile Game Mode" which promises to provide a "low latency mobile gaming experience". These nifty gaming-focused features helped the entry-level model of the RT-AX86U achieve full marks in our review.

Gundam Edition

As for the RT-AX82U twist, this is the 'Gundam Edition' and again a Wi-Fi 6 router, this time offering 574 Mbps and 4804 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz and 5. GHz bands respectively. It's equipped with four antennas, but it doesn't have the 2.5G port offered with the RT-AX86U, and it has a lower-spec processor (3-core Broadcom running at 1.5GHz, supported by 512MB RAM). Again, it offers this bespoke ``mobile gameplay'' and a dedicated game port. The Gundam-themed routers will launch on February 5 in Japan, though it's unclear if they'll be seen elsewhere; fans can only keep their fingers crossed that Asus makes the hardware available in other regions. . Asus has released plenty of other PC hardware with a Gundam motif, including a mouse and keyboard, plus a power supply, motherboards, and graphics cards, most recently a Zaku II edition of the Asus TUF Gaming X3.
