At its special event in March, Apple announced Apple TV Plus, a new streaming service that, according to CEO Tim Cook, "is like nothing that's been done before."
According to preliminary information, the streaming service will feature exclusive shows, films and documentaries from renowned filmmakers, including JJ Abrams, Steven Spielberg and Mr. Night Shyamalan.
It was also announced that Oprah and Prince Harry would also team up for a series of mental health materials, which will be released to Apple TV Plus in 2020.
In a statement posted on Instagram, Prince Harry said: "We hope this series is positive, enlightening and inclusive; sharing world-class stories about the unparalleled human spirit fighting the darkest of places and providing the opportunity to understand each other and we understand those around us, the better we ".
The launch event also saw the announcement of an Apple Card (Apple Card), a magazine and information subscription service called Apple News Plus, and a platform form of broadcast of the game called Apple Arcade. The TV Plus platform has attracted the most interest.

So is Apple TV Plus like Netflix?
This is where things get a bit confusing. On stage, Tim Cook made it clear that Apple TV Plus doesn't look like Netflix, at least not yet. While the service will offer original content by ship, Apple TV Plus will not offer licensed content, such as Netflix or Amazon Prime, which covers all syndicated shows, such as The Big Bang Theory, Mr. Robot or Seinfeld.
For now, you'll still have to buy these shows through iTunes or through your landline cable TV app on Apple TV channels and go to Apple Plus to get your original library.

It's another mystery because Tim Cook has finished the keynote without revealing how much Apple TV Plus will delay it each month.

The silver lining for Apple to create its own content, however, is that the service could be relatively cheap - only a few dollars / pounds a month.
