Apparently Sony's Android 10 update list is missing a few key phones

Currently, smartphone manufacturers are eager to install Android 10 on their very prestigious phones. We have a good idea of the type of Sony phones being considered for the update, but there are some major omissions.

NTT DoCoMo (a Japanese mobile network) has released a list of Sony phones that should feature Android Android 10. It includes the Sony Xperia 1, Xperia Xper, Xperia XZ3, Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 Premium, Xperia XZ2 Compact and Xperia Ace. .

What's missing from the list includes Sony Xperia 10, Sony Xperia 10 Plus, Sony Xperia XZ1, and Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact. The first two of these phones are very new phones, while the last two are now two years old, but have only received an Android update.

Two years, an update

Sony had promised two years of software updates for its high-end devices. So we expected the XZ1 line to be about to hack Android 10, but it looks like they may have been lost.

The lack of the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus on this list is less of a concern: NTT DoCoMo doesn't seem to store these phones, so I wouldn't update them, and we really hope they get the Android 10 update.

What this list doesn't tell us is when these different phones will have Android 10, but Sumahoinfo (a Japanese site) quotes a "famous whistleblower" saying that the Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 will start using Android 10 in November. If you have one, you shouldn't wait long.
