Apex Legends is coming to Nintendo Switch, and crossover play confirmed

Battle royale first-person shooter Apex Legends is coming to Nintendo Switch and Steam, it was announced by Respawn Entertainment during its live stream on EA Play. Coming to both platforms this fall (September to November). Apex Legends Crossplay will also be added, uniting player bases across current and future platforms: PS4, Xbox One, or PC (and possibly Nintendo Switch). PC players on Origin can also enjoy the game with those on Steam. The last event of season 5 of Apex Legends, which is called Lost Treasures, was also announced on June 23. A new limited-time event will focus on Crypto, introducing a drone that players can use to revive other players. Apex Legends has reached more than 70 million players to date, according to EA, and is free to play in all formats. Nintendo Switch owners will enjoy it. Hopefully this means that Respawn can link formats as well, so players only need to purchase the Battle Pass on one platform. However, it's just wishful thinking until we learn more. No more specific release date has been given for each version other than fall of this year.
