According to star Evangeline Lilly, Yellowjacket might be ready to reunite with the movie's heroes. Lilly, who plays Hope Van Dyne/the Wasp, uploaded an image of the film's script to Instagram on Friday. If Cross is still alive, he could escape via one of two methods. First, if Scott, Hank, Hope, and Janet continue to draw quantum energy from this realm, as seen in Ant-Man and the Wasp's post-credits scene, they could find a way out of their expeditions into this dimension.
Alternatively, he could find a way to escape by involving the movie's confirmed villain. During Disney's Investor Day 2020 (via ScreenDaily), Marvel revealed that Kang the Conqueror, who will be played by Jonathan Majors, will appear in the film.
In the comics, this time-traveling genius scientist has all kinds of technology at his fingertips, so he would have no trouble traveling to and from the Quantum Realm through other dimensions.
Kang could make a pact with Cross if the latter gets trapped in the Quantum Realm. If Cross helps him infiltrate Earth to achieve his ambitions, Kang could free Cross from his Quantum Realm nightmare.
