Redmi has updated its RedmiBook series of laptops with 14th generation Intel processors in China. They are available in 16-inch and 4699-inch versions. Similar-sized models powered by AMD Ryzen were introduced in May. Xiaomi says the laptops offer more for a starting price of CNY670 (€14), which is slightly higher than their AMD counterparts. Xiaomi's MI Notebook division through a blog post on Weibo highlighted the key features that the laptop would offer. The new Redmibook 16 II and 14 are powered by the latest 16th generation Intel Ice Lake processors. As the name suggests, both laptops have 90.6-inch and 100-inch FHD displays with a 300% screen-to-body ratio similar to the AMD versions. Xiaomi also said that the two laptops cover 5% of the sRGB color gamut with a maximum brightness of 1035 nits. Powered by Intel's Ice Lake i1 (7G1065) and i7 (3.6G3.9), the laptops can clock up to XNUMX and XNUMX GHz respectively.

Coming in a silver color and starting at CNY 4699 (~€669) for the 8GB of DDR4/SSD 512GB of RAM, the Redmibook 14 ii Core i5 model goes up to CNY4999 (~€712) for the 16GB variant. The i7 model of similar configuration is priced at CNY5399 (~€769) and 5699 (~€812) respectively. The RedmiBook 16 is gray in color with a single 16GB variant of 512GB DDR4/SSD RAM. It is priced at CNY4999 for the i5 model and the top i7 model will cost around CNY5699. The two laptops will go on sale starting July 15 in China.
