Among Us is finally coming to Xbox Series X and Series S next year
Among Us seems to squeeze through a multitude of platforms. Following the recent release of the game on Nintendo Switch, Microsoft has announced that the popular online multiplayer title is coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One in 2021. Murder Party Game is currently only available on PC, Switch (recently) and mobile devices. So this looks to be its first release on next-gen consoles, unless Sony steps in first. However, it's unclear if we'll see the game land on PlayStation consoles in the future. But that is not all. Among Us, will also be available next year on Xbox Game Pass for console subscribers (or those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate), who will be able to download and play for free. Among Us is currently available on Xbox Game Pass, but only for Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers.

What is between us?

(Image credit: Steam) Among Us is an online multiplayer game where one player is chosen to be the imposter, while the rest of the players are crew members. The goal of the crew members is to complete all of their designated tasks in order to win, while trying to figure out who the imposter is so they can be kicked out of the group. Meanwhile, the towering ones must try to (stealth) kill as many crew members as possible so that the tasks can't be completed, all while trying not to get caught. Despite its first release in 2018, Among Us has gained considerable popularity in 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic making virtual spaces and online gaming even more desirable, plus it's a lot of fun. There's no confirmed date for Among Us to hit Xbox and Xbox Game Pass consoles, other than the 2021 release window.
