AMD has announced the return of the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X to E3 2019, a 16-core, 32-thread consumer processor that will launch in September. And actually, we might get an idea of when this processor monster will be hitting the streets.
The AMD Ryzen 9 3950X appeared on the German Digitec store, with a release date of September 30. At the time AMD had announced the processor, it was for a September release. Therefore, the publication date of September 30 is in this window, even if it is just barely.
However, it should be noted that the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X is listed on Digitec for 999 euros (roughly € 1,120, € 920, A € 1,650). This price is probably just a fictitious parameter as the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X was announced at a price below € 749 (around € 620).
However, it is entirely possible that this disclosed date is inaccurate because the last day of September could just be a placeholder; after all, the official release window is just that "September 2019" at the time of writing. However, September is in progress, if AMD wants to launch this processor by the end of the month, we will probably have the audience in the very near future.
Until then though, if you're looking for an incredibly powerful processor, you'll have to settle for the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X processor, or wait for an official word from AMD. Whatever the case, you will soon have a powerful processor.
