One of the most popular wearable manufacturers, Huami has added another affordable smartwatch to its portfolio. The company announced the Amazfit Pop smartwatch in China. The Amazfit Pop certainly looks like the rebranded version of the Amazfit Bip U that was recently launched in India. The highlight of the Amazfit Pop is the large 1,43-inch screen, more than 60 sports modes and 9 days of battery life. It is also extremely light at only 31 grams. The Amazfit Pop is available in three color options: black, green, and pink.

This is a color touchscreen TFT panel, as we've seen on many other budget handhelds. You get a 320 x 320 resolution. The smartwatch comes with a 24x7 heart rate sensor and there is also an SpO2 sensor to measure your blood oxygen level. It also includes sleep tracking, menstrual tracking, stress monitoring, and breakout training features. Apart from that, there are more than 60 sports modes. Sensors on board include a BioTracker 2 PPG optical sensor and a 6-axis acceleration sensor. The smartwatch doesn't come with a built-in GPS, so you'll need to bring your phone to track all your outdoor activities.

For connectivity, you get Bluetooth 5.0 with a range of up to 10 meters. With the Zepp companion app, available for iOS and Android devices, you can customize your watch faces. You can choose from 50 watch faces or upload your own image to personalize it even more. The watch comes with a 225 mAh battery that can last up to 9 days on a single charge. To charge you get a 2 pin pogo clip. Other features include mobile notifications, clock, music control, alarm, remote camera button, find my phone, PAI health score and weather updates. In addition to all the features, the Amazfit Pop benefits from NFC support in China, which comes with support for cardless/cashless payments.
