Zhiyun Tech, which manufactures cell phone and camera stabilization products, announced the launch of the Smooth XS smartphone stabilizer for content creators. Priced at Rs 9,999, the new Zhiyun Smooth XS gimbal is currently available at an inaugural sale price of Rs 7,999 exclusively on Flipkart. The gimbal comes with features like hands-free shooting, a 260mm rod, Bluetooth connectivity, and over five and a half hours of battery life. The new mobile stabilizer is available in five colors including white, black, pink, yellow and blue. In terms of deals, customers can get an additional 10% discount on Axis Bank and ICICI Bank credit cards, up to Rs 1.500 and 10% on Axis Bank debit cards, up to Rs 750. Shenzhen Trevor Technology has been in India for five years, partnering with Zhiyun Tech to operate in the country. The Zhiyun Smooth XS has been designed with an "anti-slip gradient pattern", which is made with anti-slip rubber to fit comfortably in the human hand. Since the Zhiyun Smooth XS doubles as a selfie stick, users can also capture group photos hands-free. The device also helps in making movies with lots of built-in templates, music and themes to help the user. It has a 260mm telescopic rod that can be extended and is lightweight at the same time. Paired with the ZY Cami smartphone app, the Zhiyun Smooth XS also offers modes like Pano, Slo-mo, and Time-lapse. It comes with accessories like a mini tripod, a storage bag, and a wrist strap. Users can directly control the selfie app and the phone's native camera via Bluetooth. The device has over 5,5 hours of battery backup from its 1000mAh battery and even supports power bank charging via USB port. The Zhiyun Smooth XS is compatible with smartphones weighing up to 235 grams. The device itself has a premium plastic body and is waterproof, although the company has not shared the device's IP rating. The Zhiyun Smooth XS itself weighs 249 grams and has dimensions of 230mm x 71mm x 129mm in terms of height, width and length respectively, and has a maximum depth of 56mm. The device has a maximum controlled rotation range of 290 degrees with a maximum mechanical endpoint range of 268 degrees.
