We're weeks away from Cuphead's sequel, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, but that hasn't stopped the developers from throwing in one final reveal: an aggressive snowflake.
As part of Summer Game Fest, Studio MDHR's Maja Moldenhauer showed off a gameplay trailer featuring an unexpected boss battle: a giant snowflake that transforms and shoots eyeballs, icicles, and buckets at you. . I guess if there's one thing Cuphead has never been, it's predictable.

The boss fight footage shouldn't leave fans in any doubt that this sequel is just as badass as its predecessor. The new character Chalice must dodge waves of incoming projectiles as he jumps between floating and rotating platforms. It's a ridiculous stack of challenges and that's exactly why I'll never play these games. I like my games quiet, not straight out of hell.
It also wouldn't be a Cuphead boss if there wasn't one final reveal: that vicious boss? He's just a mage in soft purple robes underneath that cold exterior.
If you're a fan of being hacked to pieces by ruthless cartoon villains, then more power to you, too, you can start preparing yourself as you don't have long to wait until you can be ravaged again - Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course ends on the 30th. of June.
