Your Samsung Galaxy S20 pre-order could arrive several days earlier than expected

The Samsung Galaxy S20 US release date is March 6, in a few days at the time of writing, but it looks like some people who pre-ordered the phones don't have to wait that long. This is according to DroidLife, which reports that your pre-order Galaxy S20 (as well as those of some people who wrote on the site, it seems) should arrive several days early according to monitoring sites. Some lucky fans of Samsung phones will be able to play around with their new devices before it's officially released. These are all pre-orders for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 Plus, and it appears that no pre-order units for the Galaxy S20 Ultra will ship early. You'll still have to wait until March 6 for that. Well, in the UK you'll have to wait until March 13 for all of these phones (sorry!) and it looks like the first few pre-order shipments only happened in the US for people who pre-ordered phones in elsewhere they will have to wait. At the moment it is not clear who will receive the phone sooner, if it depends on the region or the carrier, or some other factor, so we are sorry to say that we cannot predict if you will receive your device early. It's worth checking out, though. Seemingly ready for this news, Verizon (an American service provider) has already released the first firmware update for Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphones, so if you already have one of the devices, you may; get this update now. If you haven't gotten your new Samsung phone before then, it's not long before the official launch date, so you won't have to wait long before playing around with the 120Hz refresh rate, WQHD+ display, numerous rear cameras, or whatever any other feature you want.
