Chobanian said on Sunday that most of the bitcoins going out were for small transactions and that the government was saving funds for some larger purchases. In the beginning, bitcoin was sent from the government wallet in small amounts (usually less than €100). On Sunday, around €26,000 worth of bitcoins left the wallet in a single transaction. At press time on Monday, there was only around €66,000 worth of Ether left in the government wallet, according to transaction data on Etherscan.
