This Windows 10 PC could fit into an outlet

It has been almost 10 years since Marvell introduced a modern computer called the Sheevaplug; Now, coming from Hong Kong, comes the iLife MP8 micro PC (via Notebook Italia).

This is not a complete PC packaged in a three-prong outlet, but we can easily imagine that happening soon. At approximately 50 x 50 x 40mm, it's small enough to plug in and forget.

You can use a wireless HDMI dongle and wireless keyboard / mouse for a completely independent experience, making this a great thin client.

Despite its size, the iLife MP8 micro PC is really well configured. It is powered by an Intel Celeron N4100 processor, which is almost as fast as a five year old Core i5 processor, with 4GB of memory and 64GB of eMMC storage.

Expansion and connectivity options include a microSD card slot, a full HDMI port, two USB 3.1 ports, an audio jack, and a USB Type-C port that is used for power. Pricing and availability have yet to be revealed, but we expect it to appear online on sites like Gearbest.

Those who have followed this market will remember the Quanta Compute Plug, which had been championed by Microsoft a few years ago, but was never actually developed. There was also the Android-based Sunvell T95P which was plugged into a two-pin plug. Proof, perhaps, that this can be done.
