This Motorola mobile phone could be a Moto G8 device
We've heard rumors that Motorola is working on a smartphone with a stylus, and new leaked hands-on photos reveal something intriguing: the device could be part of the Moto G8 series, not the next flagship we've been waiting for. These images come from a site called Xataka (a Mexican tech site) and 91Mobiles, the latter citing "reliable sources" as the provider. The phone shown in the images looks a lot like the Moto G8 Plus, from the hole-punch camera cutout in the upper left corner of the screen to the distinctive arrangement of the rear camera. In fact, without the stylus in the photo, we would instinctively assume that the phone shown is this device. We don't recognize the stylus anywhere else, though, as it's certainly different from the Samsung Galaxy Note 10's S stylus, the Nintendo DS stylus, and all the other touchscreen styles we could find online, so if the images are fake, they obviously aren't. In one of the pictures, you can slightly see that the stylus is peeking out from the bottom right corner of the smartphone, and you can also see that the tip of the stylus is diagonal, which implies that it is inserted into the phone at an angle at a from the corners, rather than directly below it, as on Galaxy Note devices.

This phone is certainly not the Moto G8 Plus or G8 Play (which have already been announced), but it could be the basic Moto G8, the G8 Power, or perhaps another G8 phone that has no predecessor. Leaks suggest it's going to be called the Moto G Stylus, but that name is terribly boring and also throws out the Motorola G numbering convention, so we're not sure at this point. We expect Motorola to launch its new smartphones at MWC 2020, with flagship phones and new Moto G8 phones expected to be there. TechRadar will be on the field at the event, so stay tuned to find out if this Motorola mobile phone is making an appearance or not. Via GSM Arena
