Curved monitors were once the pinnacle of PC luxury, but Samsung and Walmart are looking to change that this Black Friday season. The duo is selling a 32-inch curved monitor for under $200 ahead of the shopping holiday as part of Walmart's Black Friday advance sale. This is certainly an advantage for a curved monitor using the probably higher VA (vertical alignment) panel type, which offers a higher contrast ratio than TN or IPS panels. As such, you get a 3000:1 contrast ratio on a display that displays 99% of the sRGB color gamut and 73% of the Adobe RGB range. With all this in mind, this is a great monitor option for gaming at 1080p resolution, as it even has a game mode for faster input lag. It will be hard to find such a contract for players this Black Friday or even Cyber Monday.
