The world's smallest color printer can print on anything, including your skin.

If you want a small printer, it is somehow no more compact than PrinCube, which, as the name suggests, is a small cube capable of printing.

Billed as the "world's smallest mobile color printer" on Indiegogo, this crowdfunding device has dimensions of just 72 x 51 x 68mm. So it is not really a cube or a printer as such; at least unconventional.

The idea is that you can remove this 160g portable printer device anywhere and just slide it over paper or other media, more than in a moment. for printing inkjet color text (or images) on this media.

PrinCube connects to your smartphone via Wi-Fi, allowing you to download the text, pattern or image that you want to print.

And as mentioned, you can print not only on paper, but also on metal (like your laptop case), plastic, wood, fabrics, or even a skin for a temporary tattoo (which the manufacturer, TheGodThings, assures us which is perfectly safe to do so). .

Lovely prints

So yeah, it's pretty nifty, but it's certainly a lot of fun stuff that could have some serious useful applications in some settings.

You can buy standard or permanent ink cartridges and the print resolution is 1200 dpi. The indicated print volume is 415 A4 pages for one cartridge and the device can last up to 6 hours of printing on the go. PrinCube charges via a USB Type-C port.

TheGodThings will naturally provide the Android and iOS apps for creation, and interest in the device already looks very strong, with the goal of funding being broken. In fact, the promised funds are now approaching € 1.5 million with the crowdfunding campaign still three weeks away.

As of this writing, the Super Early Bird Deal is almost sold out, offering you a 50% discount off the regular price of € 199 for a spend of € 99. TheGodThings estimates that the devices will start shipping in November.
