The first mobile games with Xbox Live support have been officially announced.

After officially revealing the existence of an Xbox Live mobile Software Development Kit (SDK) last March, Microsoft's online service has now received its first confirmed titles on iOS and Android, courtesy of the developer. Gameloft. Gameloft's announcement revealed that the flagship Asphalt 9: Legends, Asphalt 8: Airborne, and Dragon Mania Legends would receive some degree of Xbox Live integration. The nature of the SDK means that developers can choose which features of the online service they want to incorporate into their games. According to Gameloft, the above-mentioned mobile game players will be able to unlock Xbox hits, see their Xbox friends list, and compare their rankings with Xbox rankings, etc. The language used in the developer announcement also indicates that these three games are not the only games that Gameloft intends to use for Xbox Live support. We can expect more features and titles to be added to the list in the coming months and years. Asphalt 9: Legends, Asphalt 8: Airborne, and Dragon Mania Legends are all available for free on iOS or Android, as for when you can expect the new integration to hit these titles, Gameloft simply says "within the next year." and expect "more features and more announcements in the future."
