Sony PlayStation 5 launch orders canceled by Croma will take priority

The launch of the Sony PlayStation 5 saw a bit of drama with stores like Reliance, Croma, and Flipkart canceling some of their pre-orders. But it seems that Croma wants to do good for the people whose orders were canceled and will give them priority. IGN India reported that Croma posted an Instagram post acknowledging the demand for the PS5 and that those who pre-ordered a PS5 on Croma and were unable to get their hands on one would be given priority. Ask users to send them a copy of the invoice for the canceled pre-booking and "see what they can do." Apparently, company employees are calling people whose orders have been canceled and asking if they still want a PS5. If they do, the company generates a payment link for Rs 49.990 which is sent to the customer's email. This follows the saga of canceled PS5 orders not only on Chroma, but also on Reliance Digital and Flipkart. But there is no word yet that the other two companies are doing something similar. The second restock that took place this week saw the console sell out again in minutes. And since then, it has been reported that the next PS5 restock is due in June. The May restock was the second full-scale restock after that, with the exception of a few small numbers of consoles sold sporadically at some retailers. Reports claimed that not all of the stock PS5s that landed in India in April were available during the May restock. Some of the stock was apparently set aside to be available at a later date due to the second wave of coronavirus gripping the country. June will see a bigger restock compared to last, as Sony apparently doesn't want bad publicity regarding the release of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, which is a PS5 exclusive without enough consoles to play on.
