The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition isn't the only crossover between the two companies; According to a new leaked image, the OnePlus Watch Cyberpunk 2077 edition is also real. Sadly, the leak only shows the watch straps, so we still have no idea what the elusive OnePlus Watch will look like. But the image, courtesy of Digital Chat Station in a tweet, shows OnePlus and Cyberpunk branded watch bands and yellow highlights much like the look of the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition:

But tying its launch to the Cyberpunk hype makes sense, especially if there's a design match between the laptop and the custom OnePlus 8T.
Crossover watches: a new frontier
The Cyberpunk-branded watch is said to be new to technology: most brand crossovers associate new phones with multimedia properties, as our recent roundup of oddball phone gear shows. Like the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition, this includes well-known brands like the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Edition or the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus Star Wars Edition (adorned with Kylo Ren's iconic helmet). But those crossovers get rarer, like the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom FC Barcelona Edition or, yes, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition. As bizarre as these combinations of phones and brands are, they clearly have an audience, and it makes sense to extend that into the realm of wearable devices. While we're not surprised that Cyberpunk is the first major smartwatch and media watch to land in some time, we don't expect it to be the last.
