More Evidence of Microsoft's Innovative Windows Core Operating System Uncovered

Microsoft's well-known modular Windows Core OS, a version of Windows 10 that can run on dual-screen devices, looks even more likely, with references to the highly anticipated software found on Microsoft's support pages.

The eagle-eyed journalists of Windows The latest references to the Windows Core operating system in Microsoft's own support documentation, which is, and most importantly, the first time we've seen Microsoft refer to software using this name.

The document has made its way since April 19, 2019. So it seems that Microsoft's sly references to the new software have flown under the radar until now.

Coming in a dual screen near you?

The existence, and name, of the Windows Core operating system seems to be confirmed by Microsoft itself, we could see very early on the first device using the software.

On October 2, Microsoft is holding a Surface hardware event, and rumors are swirling that the company will unveil a dual-screen Surface, called the Surface Centaurus, during the event. If Microsoft really does have a dual-screen device, it's likely running Windows Core OS.
