Businesses and consumers use multiple cloud storage services, but that adds unnecessary complexity. That is why the Mail.ru group has announced the worldwide availability of its Disk-O cloud storage manager.
With Disk-O, users can easily and securely manage data from an unlimited number of personal cloud storage solutions on their Mac or PC.
The software provides access to files from providers such as Box, Dropbox, and Google Drive directly from the user's desktop. Files stored in the cloud appear as if they are connected to a virtual hard drive, allowing users to browse, transfer, edit, search, and delete files from their cloud storage accounts without having to download them.
Active cloud users generally average at least two or three cloud storage services, and over time collect a large amount of data on different services. However, accessing files stored in different services can be time consuming because users have to visit each site individually or use their desktop applications that take up local storage space.

The Mail.ru group has completely built Disk-O to provide a smooth and intuitive user experience. The software allows users to access data stored in the cloud directly from a default file management system, such as File Explorer on a PC or Finder on a Mac.
Disk-O has already been installed on a million devices and the software is completely secure using SSL encryption and OAuth authentication. Users can also create a custom PIN to manage and access all of their connected cloud storage accounts for added security.
