Kodak Launches Its HD HD Smart LED TV Series In India At A Starting Price Of Rs 13,500

The American giant Kodak Imaging, in association with Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd. announced the launch of 5 LED televisions in the Indian market. Kodak LED TVs will be available in three screen sizes: 32 ", 40" and 50 ", and will offer Internet connectivity and Wi-Fi functionality. The product line will be available on all major e-commerce platforms. Shop Clues, Flipkart and Amazon as of August 15, 2016.

While the 32-inch models (HD X900S and HDXSMART) and 40-inch models (FHDX900S and FHDXSMART) are offered in standard and smart versions, the larger 50-inch model will only be available on alternative smart TVs.

The 900-inch HD X32S includes a Samsung 250 Nits panel and supports USB to USB copying. The TV comes with a glass cabinet, 4GB flash memory, and 512MB memory. The 900 "Kodak FHDX40S comes with a Samsung 300 Nits panel and also offers a USB to USB copy. The Kodak 40 FHDXSMART features a Samsung 300 Nits panel, 4GB flash storage, 512MB memory, and USB to USB copy support. The TV also has MHL connectivity.

The largest KODAK 50FHDXSMART TV has all the features of the 40-inch FHDXSMART; Expect it to have a larger 50-inch screen.

The company has only mentioned the starting price of the TV range and will reveal the prices of the other models soon. However, he stated that the price of the products would be between Rs 13.500 and Rs 40.000.

The TVs are powered by ARM Cortex A7 processors along with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The LED panels offer wide viewing angles and also include features such as progressive scan, color space and PBPr, and response time of less than 8ms. The TVs run on Android 4.4 Kitkat and are compatible with HDMI, USB, and VGA.

Kodak LED TVs will go on sale starting August 15. While the 32-inch TV will be available exclusively from ShopClues, the 40-inch and 50-inch variants will be available on Amazon and Flipkart. Kodak HD LED TVs will compete with recent LeEco and Micromax TV offerings.
