HP first in line with Ryzen-4000 business notebooks

To meet the needs of growing businesses and remote workers, HP launched two new laptops powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile processors. The HP ProBook 445 G7 and HP ProBook 455 G7 laptops were designed from the ground up to provide small businesses and remote workers everything they need to get work done, wherever they are. The company's new laptops also offer powerful performance, long battery life, fast connectivity and business-class security features. The new HP ProBook models are the company's first commercial products to offer Ryzen 4000 mobile processors. The laptops are also configurable and can be equipped with four-, six- or eight-core mobile processors for increased performance. Both ProBook models include HP Fast Charge so users can quickly charge their PCs and get up to 50% battery life in just 30 minutes.

Multi-layer security protection

As these laptops are designed to meet the needs of SMBs and remote workers, HP has also included many security features including optional HP Sure Start, HP Privacy Camera, and HP Sure View Gen 3. Repair BIOs HP Sure Start for AMD automatically recovers from corruption in firmware attacks without IT or user intervention. Meanwhile, HP Sure Sense uses deep learning artificial intelligence to identify and quarantine unprecedented attacks to prevent infections before they occur. The built-in HP Privacy Camera includes a physical shutter to block the camera lens to prevent malicious surveillance, while the optional HP Sure View Gen3 instantly prevents prying eyes from seeing what's on a user's screen by reducing visual light when the screen is viewed from the side, making it dark and unreadable. The HP ProBook 445 G7 and HP ProBook 455 G7 laptops are ultra-slim devices with a 180-degree flat hinge. The new ProBooks have a durable and elegant aluminum cover that encloses the nearly borderless display and a 3D-forged aluminum keyboard. Both laptops are expected to be available in late April.
