Amazon could use next week's hardware and services event to showcase a new TV soundbar, a 15-inch Echo smart display, a second-generation Echo Auto device and new wearables, according to a new report. The report comes from Bloomberg, which has compiled information on some of Amazon's upcoming projects from its Lab126 division. Among the devices we'll reportedly be looking at in next week's briefing is a larger screen that could serve as a home control panel when mounted on the wall, or a large-screen tablet in the kitchen when on a stand. The device appears to share much of the same DNA as the tiny Amazon Echo Show devices, but it might have a special ability to help you track your Amazon packages as they travel to your door. A smart soundbar is also on the agenda, something other third-party companies are already churning out, but Amazon's in-house model could have a built-in camera for video chats similar to the Portal Go devices. From Facebook. Finally, the Bloomberg report mentions more vehicle integrations and a possible second-generation Amazon Echo Auto device that could be mounted on the dash. The move could make Amazon a bigger player in the automotive space, which has been largely dominated by Apple CarPlay and Google's Android Auto.
