Amazon Customers Order Nintendo Switch, Get Condoms, Tambourine, And Dog Food

At least a dozen Amazon customers have had the surprise of their lives this holiday season, but not in a good way. According to Kotaku, some Black Friday shoppers who ordered a Nintendo Switch have apparently not been bought. Instead, like a scene from How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, they found everything from condoms and air fresheners to Remington nail clippers and dog food in their Amazon packaging. Many of them later took to Twitter to vent their frustration. The mix up seems to have been more than a mis-entry of the wrong SKU number, as it happened to people all over the UK and with random items. A customer from Leicester, England obviously received a microphone and tambourine, while another from Tutbury, Staffordshire received a copy of the latest David Williams children's book. Some got worse than others, finding just a pack of AA Duracell batteries and a box of washing powder or a ream of paper instead of their new Nintendo Switch.

Amazon apologizes, but there is no Nintendo Switch yet.

What's even more disappointing is that they can no longer take advantage of the deal that was announced to them on Black Friday. However, it looks like they won't be getting the Nintendo Switch they ordered, which means they may have to pay a high price or wait for another price cut before Christmas. Amazon apologized and said they were looking into the incident. The company also promised to reimburse every customer, which is at least something.
