Optus says that its official 5G page is "starting its 5G rollout," but unfortunately, it doesn't include a concrete timeline or roadmap for when it will be available to consumers. The strongest information Optus currently provides is that it has already built 100 sites and has "committed to building 1.200 sites by March 2020." We expect the rollout to follow a similar pattern to Telstra's current coverage, with a few select areas receiving the new network in small areas and slowly expanding it in the coming months.
