If you're a fan of flip phones, the future looks pretty bright for you as it looks like a number of them could be released by the end of XNUMX. A report has detailed some less-reported, by that we mean: not the Galaxy Z Fold XNUMX or Galaxy Z Flip XNUMX, both of which have leaked repeatedly, but we've heard enough already. This report is from the Korean news site S. The Elec, and it's mostly about ultra-thin glass, or UTG, the thin material most foldable phones use for their screens (which, in contrast to its name , implies a layer of plastic). Lots of upcoming and expected foldable phones are checked out in the report, and we also heard about "foldable smartphones released in the second half of this year," suggesting that upcoming devices could launch soon. Take this time with a pinch of salt, though: if the original Galaxy Fold has taught us anything, it's that folded smartphones can take a long time and a lot of delays to launch.
What phones are coming?
The next most intriguing phone mentioned is a foldable from Google, which previous gossip has dubbed the Pixel Fold. According to the report, a foldable Vivo phone ranks third in the size race. XNUMX of those XNUMX brands on the list are Chinese companies, and XNUMX of them (Vivo, Xiaomi, and Honor) have a long history of launching high-end products in China, but not globally.
