(*4*) You season 4 has a release date, and it consists of two parts

Your Season 4 has finally been given a release date, or rather two release dates, as the psychological thriller series is split into two parts.

Announced at Tudum 2022, Netflix has confirmed that the next installment in the Joe Goldberg story will be released in two parts. You Season 4 Part 1 will be released on February 10, 2023, while Part 2 will debut on the streaming service a month later. It is March 10, 2023.

The first trailer for You Season 4 has also been released along with the release date announcement, which you can check out below:

As the trailer reveals, Joe Goldberg is no longer "the lovable New York bookseller, or the LA salesman, or adoring suburban husband." Instead, in season 4, he'll play Professor Jonathan Moore, another reimagining that seemingly allowed Joe to put the past behind him.

Or so it seems. Joe suggests that his penchant for falling in love with women is a thing of the past, but some female characters (Tati Gabrielle's Marienne, Amy Leigh-Hickman's Nadia, and Charlotte Ritchie's Kate) appear in the trailer as Penn Badley. Joe speaks these words. We don't know about you, but we don't believe Joe. No one. A little.

Sure, viewers will remember that Marienne appeared in You season 3, but when has that stopped Joe from going after whoever he wants? If we were Marienne, we'd be looking over her shoulder.

The rest of the trailer shows off other supporting characters, including Ed Speelers' Rhys and Tilly Keeper's Lady Phoebe. Expect everyone to get swept up in everything Joe has planned in the next episode of the hit Netflix show.

It has not been said how many episodes Season 4 of You will contain. But, given that its three predecessors each comprised 10 episodes, we'd be surprised if the fourth entry in the series didn't contain a similar number.
