Vodafone is the UK's most sought-after mobile, broadband and landline provider.

Vodafone has been named the UK's most claimed mobile phone provider, with the company also receiving the same undesirable distinction in the broadband and landline categories. According to the latest figures from Ofcom, Vodafone has recorded 7 complaints per 100,000 customers, well above the industry average of 4. Sky, Three, iD Mobile, O2 and EE have all also received below-average scores, BT (5 ) and Virgin Media (7) scored higher. Tesco Mobile is once again the country that complains the least about the mobile operator, with the industry only seeing one complaint per 100,000 users. "Shifting services has never been easier. Therefore, companies that don't prioritize great service could see their customers abandon them for those that do." In broadband, the industry average was 14 complaints per 100,000 subscribers: Vodafone received 26 complaints, Plusnet and TalkTalk also underperformed with 22 each, while BT received 13. EE and Sky received fewer (5). . Ofcom said breakdowns, service and supply problems were the main drivers of complaints about Vodafone. The industry average for landline complaints was 10. Here Vodafone (18), TalkTalk (17) and Plusnet (17) also experienced difficulties, as did Virgin Media (16). The EA was the least criticized, generating only 16 complaints per 100,000. Ofcom monitors the claim levels of any provider with a market share of 1,5% or more. The idea is that consumers can make more informed decisions when choosing a fixed, broadband, mobile or payment service, which leads providers to improve. "People have never had more choice in the telephony and broadband markets," said Fergal Farragher, Ofcom's director of consumer policy.
