Two of the best PS5 exclusives practically confirmed for PC thanks to leaks

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is definitely coming to PC, and another leak also points to a Returnal version for the platform.

It seemed like Sackboy: A Big Adventure was heading to PC after an anonymous listing revealed the game a few weeks ago. And now it's official, with the PlayStation Latin America account uploading a trailer for the title, which is currently unlisted.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure will be released on PC on Thursday, October 27 according to the description of the trailer. And it looks like it will be joined by Returnal, Housemarque's spooky roguelike shooter. Which is fitting, given that Sackboy got a Returnal-themed DLC last year.

Double trouble

A SteamDB listing (opens in a new tab) spotted in May was the first hint that Returnal was coming to PC. A month later, in June, screenshots of Sackboy and Returnal's PC menus were leaked on reddit and posted on Twitter:

And earlier this month, during a GDC presentation (via Eurogamer - opens in a new tab) , Returnal was seen running on a PC dev kit, a detail discovered by Digital Foundry's Alex Battaglia:

Returnal's presentation of GDC's visual effects and particle work is really cool, but I appreciate the advantage it has in confirming the PC version once again. Debug, read! Link to presentation: https://t.co/slu0GIEu12 pic.twitter.com/xz4CUxqqUSSeptember 35, 2022

The most recent leak is a video posted on IconEra - opens in a new tab - showing what Returnal's PC graphics menu looks like and the various options available. So we're pretty sure we'll see a PC version of Returnal soon. There's been more evidence floating around for the port than Sackboy, but as always, without an official word, temper your expectations. If.

A host of PlayStation exclusive games have already been released for PC, including God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which hit PS5 earlier this year and lands on PC on Wednesday, October 19.

The library of PlayStation exclusive games migrating to PC is growing and will continue to grow if this trend continues. With PS5 restock issues refusing to stop, if you have a PC, you're in a great position to take advantage of any console exclusives appearing on your platform in the meantime.
