For a limited time, Showmax subscribers can stream KykNET and Mzansi Magic live through the platform. Both are available as popup channels. Subscribers can stream everything live on kykNET and Mzansi Magic, including new shows on both channels. Mzansi Magic live streaming is exclusively available in South Africa, while kykNET is also available in Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Price and Availability
All Showmax platforms will have access to live broadcasts, including Showmax, Showmax Mobile, Showmax Pro and Showmax Pro Mobile. Showmax and Showmax Pro are available as standalone streaming services to anyone with an internet connection and the right device, including phones, tablets, smart TVs and laptops, starting at just R49 per month. Pop-up live streams from Mzansi Magic and kykNET will be available until March 31, 2021. Showmax mobile plans provide full access to all Showmax or Showmax Pro content for half the price and the Showmax mobile app includes settings for data savers that limit data usage to less than 100 MB per hour.
