The Sony Direct PS5 restock has been confirmed for tomorrow, July 20 at 3:00 pm EDT / 12:00 pm PDT, according to Matt Swider, who has gotten numerous subscribers to send him proof of the email invitation from Sony. Another PS5 Restock Today: Will Walmart Restock Soon?
The Sony Direct may not be the only restock for the PS5 this week. As of this writing, it's been over a month since Walmart last restocked PS5, and most people have now gotten their PS5 Disc or Digital Edition consoles through the US retailer. This means that the Walmart PS5's usual restock time of 3 pmEDT on a Thursday is something we'll pay attention to (on Thursday at this exact time, Walmart has had a restock for most of 2021). Look for our Twitter alert for Sony Direct and Walmart if orders start to open and the Add to Cart button is enabled. There's no word on a Best Buy PS5 restock this week, though RTX GPUs will be in stock at Best Buy stores tomorrow, July 20, morning. While Sony Direct has a second restock in two weeks, and Nintendo Switch OLED pre-orders in the US have been easier to come by, we expect consoles and Xbox Series X restock opportunities. keep being elusive.
