PS5 resupply news: when will the next PS5 resupply be?

PS5 restock news reached a crescendo this week, with no restock date until Thursday, meaning impatient customers were looking to buy their console on eBay, StockX, and other resellers for around $800 or more. But it's getting easier to buy the PS5 in the US, according to our restock experts, and just waiting until Thursday, we're getting four different PS5 restock alerts one after the other. Demand has fallen, although Sony's supply of PS5 consoles remains low. Note: We expect demand to pick up again in October through Christmas. Sam's Club kicked off the PlayStation 5 restock rally at 12:30am on Thursday and Antonline had PS5 restock packs when everyone first woke up. This was followed by a surprise Walmart PS5 restock announcement at noon and 9pm EDT on the same day. In between, Best Buy got the console after three weeks of silence. Target recently restocked the PS5 every three weeks around 7:40am EDT, and the end of next week would be the restock date and time we expect, if that happens next week.

But we found that there were too few of these consoles to be a true delivery, and many of those who ordered canceled theirs. Because? Because it's been a week and a half since the last replenishment of the PS5 in the store; anyone who hadn't gotten their console back by then had it redirected to someone else's inventory. From our tracking, this was only at a few stores with even fewer consoles. We used to get exclusive news on our Twitter tracker feed about Target PS5 restock dates. Now Target likes to surprise everyone without circulating any leaked internal notes. But we still have sources at individual Target stores telling us when they get inventory, and they typically have enough Sony PS5 consoles "ready to restock" every three weeks. Target recently switched to reload release on Fridays, previously only using the popular time change dates within minutes of 7:40am EDT (the last PS5 restock time was 7:38am EDT, for example). There's a lot to love about shopping at Target, as Matt Swider's PS5 Twitter tracker posts are filled with replies from people holding up photos of their console in hand, as Target allows online order pickup on the same day. Like all retailers, if you go to a store, the employees will refuse to sell you one in person.

Our PS5 restock Twitter tracker Matt Swider is ready for Amazon's next restock as the #1 online retailer. #5 will launch console orders for August; you usually have a PlayStation 5 restock once a month and we don't. in stock from the end of July. Amazon is so popular that whenever it has a PS404 restock, its checkout pages usually get stuck and many people see 5 errors (along with cute dog pictures). The trick to buying the PS10 on Amazon is to select "Add to List" whenever the normal Add to Cart button doesn't work. From there, a pop-up will appear and you can select "View Listing" and add it to your cart from there, away from the main product page which is cluttered with traffic. Amazon typically picks one or two times to restock: either in the morning (between 11am and 3am EDT) or in the middle of the night (just after 12am EDT). There was one particular circumstance where Amazon chose 5pm EDT for its nightly PSXNUMX restock to coincide with the last three hours of Amazon Prime Day. We're still tracking PS5 restock news from Walmart and Best Buy, but since both had plenty of PS5 consoles available this week, we're not expecting too much news from either US retailer. We constantly follow more than a dozen US retailers on Twitter for PS5 stock, so this is far from the complete list. We also monitor restock dates at Newegg, Costco, Antonline, and Sam's Club. Sony PlayStation Direct, the official store for the PlayStation 5 brand, is also in need of restocking, but has slowed down inventory supply significantly.
