PUBG leads free PS Plus games for September

Sony has unveiled its lineup of free PS Plus games for September, and that's quite the adventure. Chicken Dinners is on the cards as PS Plus subscribers will be able to download and play PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Street Fighter V as part of the September deal. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (also known as PUBG) is the father of battle royale games. If you've played Fortnite or COD: Warzone before, you have PUBG to thank. While PUBG was originally released in 2017, it is still one of the most played games on Steam and Xbox Live. So getting it for free in September is a great deal, and a great opportunity for first-time battle royale enthusiasts to try it out. Street Fighter V, meanwhile, offers a classic side-scrolling combat experience that will appeal to fans new and old of Capcom's long-running franchise.

Even if none of these games appeal to you, we recommend downloading them to your library, as that means as long as you're an active PS Plus subscriber, you'll always have it. Also, they are worth checking out at least once. PUBG and Street Fighter V will be available to download from September 1 to October 5. If you haven't purchased the free PS Plus games for August yet, you have until August 31 to do so. Today's best Sony Playstation Plus subscription deals PlayStation Plus 1 year...
