Pokémon Go is launching gifts for Amazon Prime members

Amazon Prime members will be able to get a ton of free Pokemon Go goodies in the coming months as developer Niantic hands out several exclusive bundles to subscribers.

Free Pokémon Go packs will be released every two weeks, allowing Prime members to claim loads of in-game items. In a press release, Niantic did not say exactly how long the promotion will last, but described it as a "summer" . event, suggesting that it will last a few months.

The first free release will go live on May 19 ahead of Pokémon Go Community Day on May 21. It will give you 30 Poké Balls, five Max Revives, and a Star Piece. The content of future packs will be revealed in preparation for their release.

How to redeem gifts

In order to get the gifts, you will need to claim the offer through the Pokémon Go Prime Gaming page. Go to this website, select the offer you want to use and follow the instructions. Once you're done, you should receive a unique code.

This code can be redeemed two ways: through the Pokémon Go website or the Pokémon Go app. If browsers are more your thing, head to the Pokémon Go website's redemption page and log in to su cuenta. Insert the code in the cuadro de texto, haga clic en canjear y listo, acaba de ganar algunos premios.

To redeem the code in the app, go to the main map screen and tap the Poké Ball at the bottom. Click on the store icon and copy the code into the text box that appears in the "Promotions" section. Just hit the trade button and you're done.

However, only Android users can redeem codes through the Pokémon Go app. If you are playing on an iOS device, you will need to use the website.
