Disney Plus, Disney's streaming service, doesn't break the bank at $7 a month (plus, there's a 7-day free trial), but hey, free is cheaper than seven bucks. Google is offering a deal where if you activate a Chromebook before January 31, you'll get a three-month bonus with Disney Plus. Google announces the transaction here. Applies only to new Disney Plus subscribers and is a US exclusive offer. Android Police notes that you need to go to the Google Benefits page after signing up and enter the discount code when you sign up for Disney Plus. As with the Disney Plus free trial, you also need to enter your payment information and cancel before the end of your three months if you don't want your bill charged. This is how Google explains the registration process:
- Activate your new Chromebook and select the offer on the Google Chromebooks deals website to receive a promotional code.
- Download the Disney+ app from the Google Play Store on your Chromebook,
- Create a Disney+ account in the app and agree to the Disney+ Subscription Agreement, and
- Select the desired payment method for your auto-renewing subscription, click "Use Code" and enter your promotional code. The promotional offer code is for one use only and is not transferable.
