After an unprecedented time, Need for Speed is back in a new title called Need for Speed Heat.
The reveal trailer contains several elements already known about the franchise: car customization, demands by the police and dangerous speeds for automobile traffic.
The player will visit the fictional city of Palm City, participating in a series of illegal races in Speedhunters Showdown to earn money and fame.
Heat is currently being developed by Ghost Games, the studio responsible for old franchise titles like Payback and NFS 2015. Creative director Riley Cooper said he had heard about the return of players and that it would bring "more cars, challenges and lots of customizations."
Need for Speed Heat will launch on November 5 for Origin Access Premier subscribers and November 8 for the rest of the world.
