Marvel may have thrown a great MCU Avengers in Ant-Man 3

Marvel may have cast one of the Avengers' biggest villains in the upcoming Ant-Man 3, according to a new rumor. According to Deadline, actor Jonathan Majors, already seen in Netflix's Da 5 Bloods and currently the star of the Lovecraft Country series, will have a starring role in the upcoming Ant-Man movie. The report notes that while a role has yet to be confirmed, sources say he will likely play Kang the Conqueror in the film, a well-known Marvel supervillain. It's mentioned that he's likely to be one of the main villains in Ant-Man 3, but that "there might be a twist to how the character is presented in future movies." The last part is quite a confusing descriptor, honestly. But that makes us wonder if we'll see Kang appear in one form in this film, only to appear in another incarnation later on. It's honestly too early to speculate much more than that, but Deadline's track record as a Hollywood insider is pretty solid. The POS is frequently used for big casting announcements, but we'd still take the story as rumor for now. Still, the idea of Kang the Conqueror potentially being added to the MCU is pretty big and could give us an indication of how Marvel Studios intends to keep up with the level of threat Thanos poses in the Avengers movies. The character of Kang the Conqueror appeared fully in the eighth issue of The Avengers comic in 1964, and has been a mainstay ever since.

What else do we know about Ant-Man 3?
