Mark on your calendar, Amazon Prime Day 2019 of July 15

The official dates of Amazon Prime Day 2019 have been announced and, as we think, they will take place on the third weekend of July, less than a month away. Amazon Prime Day starts on July 15 and will continue through July 16. The online retailer has promised two full days of "epic contracts," according to the press release published today. The start time is midnight in each region (for example, the Prime Day coup in the United States and the United Kingdom will be different). Amazon anticipates what will be on sale in each region.

Amazon Prime Day deals are now online.

Amazon is already putting things up for sale, and is of course promoting its own assets or those of its partners first, as well as heavily discounted movies-on-demand. In the US, starting today, that means a saving of $120 on Toshiba TV's just-announced 43-inch Fire TV HD TV - it's just $179.99 and certainly a hot seller. Amazon doesn't want its Deal of the Day to sell. In the UK, Amazon has already started ramping up Prime Day, offering the first-generation speaker, the Amazon Echo Show (the first to have a screen), for just €79,99 (up from €179.99 originally). Movie rentals are as little as $2.99 / $1.99 for Amazon Prime Day subscribers. The movie costs us $2.99, just like Spider-Man: Spider-Verse on Amazon.com. Amazon claims that Premium members will also see spectacular deals on Alexa-enabled devices, claiming it will be "the biggest Prime Day deal ever" on this type of hardware. In total, according to Amazon, there will be more than a million global deals and they will launch throughout the 48-hour event. Amazon has a reason to keep you coming back to its website for two days in a row, though you can still follow our Amazon Prime Day 2019 guide for a full list of the best deals. Developing story...
